Terms of Service & User Agreement
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing, viewing, or submitting any commercial filing request through the online compliance services provided by DOT Driver Certification LLC.
NON-AFFILIATION WITH UNIFIED CARRIER REGISTRATION PLAN
This website is not affiliated with the Unified Carrier Registration Plan. This website is operated by a private company that provides a private registration service for an additional fee. You are not required to use this site to register with the UCR Plan. You may register directly with the UCR Plan at http://www.ucr.gov.
1 Agreement and Acceptance of Service
The following terms and conditions (“Terms”, “User Agreement”, “Terms of Use”), together with our Privacy Policy and 3-Day Refund Policy, govern your access to and commercial use of the web application portals operated by DOT Driver Certification LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including unifiedcarrierregistration-filing.com and dotdrivercertification.com (collectively, the “Service”).
These Terms apply to all visitors, commercial users, carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, fleet dispatchers, and others who access or utilize our filing submission tools (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”). If you do not fully understand or do not consent unconditionally to all provisions contained within this Agreement, you must immediately terminate use of our Service. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed unenforceable by an arbitrator or court of competent jurisdiction, that specific provision shall be enforced to the maximum allowable extent, and all remaining provisions shall remain in full force and legal effect.
2 Eligibility, Representation, and Authority
Our Service is exclusively offered to authorized business entities and individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess full legal capacity to enter into binding bilateral contracts under applicable United States law.
By accessing or submitting an order on this platform, you expressly represent and warrant that:
- You possess authentic authority to represent, bind, and execute commercial regulatory filings on behalf of the motor carrier, broker, freight forwarder, leasing entity, or company identified in your filing.
- All information, USDOT numbers, MC numbers, vehicle bracket counts, physical addresses, and corporate officer identities supplied by you are truthful, verifiable, and accurate in all respects.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your payment credentials and computer access, and you assume full responsibility for all activities occurring under your session.
3 Orders, Document Preparation & Filing Execution
DOT Driver Certification LLC acts as your private commercial document filing representative. Upon receiving your authorized submission and payment clearance, our compliance agents typically initiate data audit and state portal submission within forty-eight (48) business hours (Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays).
The Customer acknowledges that timely registration depends upon the prompt delivery of valid carrier information. We shall not be held liable for delayed certificates, state enforcement actions, highway impoundments, or audits resulting from inaccurate, fraudulent, or missing carrier data provided by the Customer.
4 Payments, Government Remittance & Service Fees
Our total charged amounts consist of two distinct financial components:
- Statutory Government Filing Fees: The official, mandatory regulatory fees established under federal statute by the FMCSA and the UCR Plan Board based on your commercial power unit fleet bracket.
- Private Administrative Processing Fees: Our private fees for document audit, carrier record verification, automated bracket checks, expedited portal transmission, and digital certificate delivery.
All prices are displayed exclusive of applicable payment gateway surcharges or state taxes unless otherwise explicitly itemized. You authorize DOT Driver Certification LLC to charge the designated credit, debit, or corporate card on file for the agreed amount.
5 Three (3) Day Refund and Cancellation Policy
Strict 3-Calendar-Day Cancellation Window
Refunds and order cancellations are strictly available within three (3) calendar days of initial payment. Cancellation requests submitted after three (3) calendar days will not be approved under any circumstances.
To request a refund within the 3-day eligible window, you must submit a written request directly through our official support desk at support@dotdrivercertification.com or via our official Contact Form prior to the expiration of the 72-hour period.
Deduction of Non-Refundable Statutory Government Fees: If our compliance processing specialists have already remitted, paid, or committed your filing fee to the official government registration authority (e.g., UCR.gov or state registry) prior to receiving your written cancellation request, all government fees are strictly non-refundable and will be deducted from your settlement amount.
Settlement Timeline: Approved refunds are credited exclusively back to the original method of payment within 3 to 10 business days, subject to your financial institution's processing schedule.
Pre-Dispute Protocol: Before initiating any credit card chargeback, merchant inquiry, or bank payment reversal, Customer agrees to contact our management team directly to resolve any discrepancies. Initiating an unauthorized chargeback without prior written communication constitutes a material breach of this Agreement.
6 Commercial Disclaimers & Advice Limitations
The Customer acknowledges and understands that this platform is operated by a private, commercial compliance document preparer and is not a government agency, nor is it endorsed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT), or the Unified Carrier Registration Plan Board.

If any limitation within this section is deemed invalid or unenforceable, Customer agrees that our aggregate cumulative liability for any and all claims shall not exceed the actual administrative service fee paid by Customer to DOT Driver Certification LLC, or one hundred dollars ($100.00 USD), whichever is lesser.
8 Mandatory Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Any legal dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, our Service, or our fee transactions that cannot be resolved through good-faith informal negotiation shall be resolved exclusively through final, binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
